It was a very beautiful day here in Bocas Del Toro, Panama, with sun, no clouds and the sea was completely quiet.
When awoken, we just go outside to appreciate the view for five minutes before we start with school because it give us some kind of weird positive energy. Something that we can’t really explain.
We started with school and as always, at 11h we have a little brake to eat something and keep going with school.
When we had lunch a lot of taxi boats were passing by our ship with a lot of people waving with their hands and taking pictures. That’s something that happens a lot of times and it’s funny.
As now we have the tropical roster, after lunch we went to swim and jump from the ship with a buoy attached to a rope in the mast. It’s such a great feeling to swim in different places al the time!
In the end of the afternoon the Capitan Sam arrived with the new project leader, Pascal. He seems to be very funny and a great person and was also teacher last year here at School At Sea, what makes the things easier in all the aspects.
As it’s too hot to sleep inside, we had been sleeping outside of the ship in our hammocks and as always there is some people that are still falling from the hammocks. Such funny moments.
By the way, one of the things that has really surprised us, is watching dolphins passing close to the ship while we swim. It’s amazing!
